Surface Preparation
Make sure all surfaces are structurally sound, clean and free of dust, grease and oil.
Product Application
Shake can vigorously for one minute. Screw trigger/straw component firmly onto the can valve until it stops. Practicing on newspaper first, hold can in any direction and slowly push trigger until foam flows smoothly. Fill cavities no more than 50% full. Do not overfill window and door jambs, as this could result in bowing. Applications exposed to sunlight should be painted.
Usage Considerations
Extinguish all flames, burners, stoves, heaters, pilot lights and disconnect all electrical motors and appliances before use and until all vapors are gone. DO NOT smoke, use matches or lighter while dispensing foam. Wear protective goggles and gloves. Cover areas next to work area with newspaper or cloth. For best results, apply in 60°-100°F weather.
Painting Guidelines
Foam may be painted after it has fully cured (approximately 8 hours).
Drying Time
Tack-free in 20 minutes. Dries in 8 hours. Actual dry time may vary with temperature, humidity and materials used.
Cleanup
Clean uncured foam immediately with paint thinner or acetone. Cured foam must be scraped off. For foam that hardens on skin, soak affected area with warm, soapy water then apply petroleum jelly and lightly scrub.
