Surface Preparation

All surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry, and free from any loose material.

Applying The Product

Protect surfaces in the immediate area, as this adhesive cures rapidly and may be difficult to remove. Break caps off of end of package and remove plastic strip from between plungers. Push out enough adhesive for bonding application. Place caps on end of package and set aside. Thoroughly mix the adhesive with a mixing stick. Mixing should be completed in about 30 seconds. Apply mixed product to both surfaces to be joined. Press parts together and hold, clamp, or set assembled part in place where it will not shift until adhesive has set (about 5 minutes). Allow one hour before beginning limited handling and use of bonded parts. Full strength will be achieved within 24 hours.

Metal

1. Mix an amount of METAL PROJECTS sufficient to coat the portion of the object that is to be bonded to the cement, block, brick, or stone.
2. Coat the metal with mixed METAL PROJECTS and press the object into place. Hold, tape, or brace the metal object in place until the adhesive has set (5 minutes). If the metal part is heavy, it may be necessary to tape or brace the item in place for up to 6 hours after application.
To bond parts, such as handles, to metal in cookware applications, mix together Parts A and B of METAL PROJECTS and apply to the handle surface that is being joined to the metal. Press the part into place on the metal and hold until the adhesive has reached an initial set (5 minutes). Place repaired object aside and allow to cure for 24 hours prior to using.

Cleanup

Wipe off excess adhesive with a dry cloth. Wet adhesive may be removed by using a cloth dampened with mineral spirits. Dried adhesive can be scraped off of surfaces.
