Surface Preparation

Clean and dry surface thoroughly before applying this product. Remove any old caulk with mineral spirits. Fill any deep joints with solid filler to within 1/2" of surface. LRS-280 should be applied in dry weather at temperatures above 40°F. Do not caulk with this product when rain is expected within 24 hours.

Product Application

Load LRS-280 cartridge into standard caulking gun. Cut nozzle at 45° angle for desired bead size (marked on nozzle). Apply continuous bead of LRS-280 into gap, using uniform pressure to fill completely. Smooth over with wet finger or tool. Caulk skins over within 10 minutes.

Painting Guidelines

Paintable in one hour with oil or latex paint.

Drying Time

Skins over within 10 minutes. Sets in 24 to 48 hours. Completely dry in 72 hours.

Cleanup

Use water to clean up LRS-280 while wet. For dry caulk, scrape away.
