Application Prep

To lay tongue and groove or conventional plywood subflooring: 1. Lay a 1/4" continuous bead on each supporting joist. Where sheets meet along joist, apply two 1/4" beads. 2. With tongue and groove plywood, apply just enough adhesive to grooved edge to avoid squeeze-out by tongue. 3. Taking care to avoid smearing beads on supporting joists, lay sheets with plywood face grain at right angles to joists. Do not drive panel joists tight. Space all joints the thickness of putty knife (approx. 1/16") to allow for expansion of panels. 4. Nail section into place with 8D annular or spiral nails, 12" on center on all joists. Remove any adhesive smears with putty knife and/or mineral spirits. NOTE: Subflooring must be under roof within six weeks.

Drying Time

Working time: bonds material within 15 minutes. Drying time: allow 24 to 48 hours before using newly constructed surface.

Cleanup

Use mineral spirits.
