Surface Preparation
Make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry and structurally sound before product is applied. Do not apply to moist concrete or masonry. Note: One surface must be porous.
Product Application
Cut and prefit materials prior to installation. Insert tube into caulking gun. Cut nozzle to desired bead size marked on nozzle. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Adhesive should be gunned at a room temperature of 60°F or higher. Adhere all materials before adhesive skins over.
Bonding Material To Furring Strips Or Studs
Apply a zig-zag 1/4" bead of adhesive to each strip or stud to be covered by material. Position materials so edges meet at stud center. Press firmly into place. Finishing nails are required.
Bonding Foamboard, Foamback Tub Surrounds, Panels, Corkboard, etc. To Flat Surfaces
Apply 1/4" beads of adhesive over entire substrate in vertical zig-zag pattern. Beads should be a maximum of 12" apart and within 1-1/2" of all edges. Bracing may be necessary until adhesive has set.
Drying Time
Working time up to 30 minutes. Dries in 24 hours. Fully cured in 28 days.
