Recommended For:

bonding or sealing wood, glass, concrete, painted surfaces, fiberglass, vinyl, metal, ceramic tile, backsplashes and carpet perimeters.

NOT Recommended For:

bonding wood flooring, tubs, sinks, marble, granite, polystyrene panels, aquariums, plastics, ceiling applications and metal roofing applications.

Surface Preparation

Make sure that all surfaces are clean, dry, structurally sound and free of any loose paint or other materials.

Product Application

Do not apply LN-975 when surface or adhesive temperature exceeds 100°F (38°C) or is lower than 40°F (5°C). Cut nozzle at 45° angle to desired bead size (marked on nozzle). Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Apply a 1/4" bead of adhesive around the perimeter of one of the materials to be bonded. The adhesive should be recessed approximately one to two inches from the edge of the surface. If the surface is larger than 6" wide, a zig-zag bead maybe applied in the middle of the panel. Press into place. May need to brace for 24 hours. To develop strength faster, press materials firmly into place and pull away for 1 to 3 minutes, then press back into place.

Backsplashes

Apply a 1/4" bead to contact areas on the back of backsplash. Press firmly into place.

Ceramic Tile

Apply a 1/4" bead around the perimeter of the back of the tile. Press firmly into place. Not for use in place of grout or grout sealer.

For Sealing

Make sure sealant touches at least 1/8" on each side of area to be sealed. Press into place with spatula or other flat object. Mineral spirits may be used to help tool sealer into place.

Drying Time

Working time 10 minutes. Fully cured in two weeks.

Cleanup

Use mineral spirits.
