Recommended For:

installing ceramic tiles, mosaic tile, quarry tiles, pavers, slate and marble to interior concrete, gypsum wallboard, plywood, cured plaster, steel-troweled dry concrete, interior concrete block, tables, backsplashes, countertops and concrete backerboard.

NOT Recommended For:

outdoor use, use on hardboard or floor tiles larger than 8" x 8".

Surface Preparation

Make sure that all surfaces to be covered with adhesive are structurally sound, clean, dry and free of any dust, dirt, oil, wax or grease. Precondition M321 adhesive and working area to a temperature of 60°F or higher for 24 hours prior to application.

Wall Application

Use a V-type trowel with notches 3/16" deep. Spread adhesive evenly over wall surface. Open time and adhesion are decreased by using an improper trowel that leaves too little adhesive. Tile may be set from top to bottom. Press each tile firmly into place with a slight sliding or twisting motion.

Floor Application

Using a trowel with notches 1/4" deep, 1/4" wide and 1/4" apart, spread adhesive. Large tiles may require larger notches on the trowel. Immediately after setting tile, tap with padded block to insure contact between adhesive and tile.

Drying Time

Working time up to 45 minutes. May grout in 24 hours.

Cleanup

Excess wet adhesive can be removed with soapy water. Dried adhesive can be cleaned up with mineral spirits.
