Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and structurally sound.

Product Application

Cut and pre-fit materials prior to installation. Cut nozzle to desired bead size. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Important: For best results, set drywall onto adhesive within 30 minutes of application.

Walls

Apply 1/4" (.64cm) bead of adhesive directly onto studs and plates. Press drywall firmly into place, adjust as necessary. Warped boards should not be used. Perimeter nail 16" (41cm) on center and 24" (61cm) on center in the field. Note: If studding is perfectly true, nailing inside field will not be required.

Ceilings

Apply 1/4" (.64cm) bead of adhesive to rafters. Warped boards should not be used. Perimeter nail 16" (41cm) on center and 24" (61cm) on center in the field. Drywall larger than 4' x 8' (13.1m x 26.2m) should be fastened with two nails in the field of each rafter.

Laminating

Apply 1/4" (.64cm) adhesive bead in zig zag pattern 12" (30.58cm) on center of structure. Press drywall firmly into place. (Some uses include bonding drywall to drywall and drywall to block walls).

Cleanup

Use water for wet adhesive.
