glazing metal, wood, aluminum, painted or unpainted glass, plexiglass and acrylic sheeting. Also recommended for bedding glass or plastic in wood or metal.

NOT Recommended For:

applications below the water line, aquariums, on top of silicone, or over wet or green lumber.

Surface Preparation

Remove any old caulk, glazing, putty or peeling paint. Clean rusted surfaces by wire brushing and prime with rust preventive primer. No primer is needed on clean, bare wood. GC-17 should only be applied in dry weather at temperatures above 40°F. Do not use this product when rain is expected within 24 hours.

Product Application

Load GC-17 cartridge into standard caulking gun. Puncture inner seal with nail or wire. Apply GC- 17 compound directly to glazing area with uniform pressure.

Painting Guidelines

Paintable with oil or latex paint after one hour drying time. Under humid conditions drying time might be extended.

Drying Time

Dries in 24 hours.

Cleanup

Use soap and water to clean up GC-17 while wet. For dried sealant, scrape or cut away.
